If you don't think the tuner application deserve a five star rating please tell us why and explain the features you want to see! If you experience any problems or have any other questions regarding the guitar tuner don't hesitate to send us an email We are happy to help you out! The guitar tuner provides a massive library of different tunings for guitar but you can also tune your bass, ukulele, banjo, mandolin, violin, balalaika or any type of stringed instrument. If you would like to tune your instrument by ear you just click on a string and you can listen to each pitch. The settings is found by clicking the settings button (looks like a wrench). If the tuner is not responding, please make sure the input source the tuner should listen to is selected. Furthermore, if the tuner is showing strange results try to reload the page so that the application is restarted. However, if you experience any problem please make sure that there are no other flash applications running, i.e other flash applications running in other browser tabs. The application is tested by the developers in different operating systems, booth on Mac and PC. The application requires Adobe Flash Player 10.1 or later. Automatic: The tuner detects the pitch automatically. Chromatic: Tune all tones of the chromatic scale. Tune your acoustic guitar using the computer's microphone or plug in your electric guitar. Again, IMO, no one's ear would ever think that was in-tune, and my guess is that he plays acoustic guitar with a stronger grip than I do.Pro Guitar Tuner is a chromatic tuner that works like an ordinary guitar tuner but right in chrome web browser. The video starts with an exaggerated out-of-tune guitar that presumably shows what happens when you use your tuner without precompensation. As I see it though, those values work for him, his playing style, and maybe many others: IMO, it's highly dependent on how you play and the guitar that you play. The James Taylor video shows how to manually "sweeten" tuning by adjusting the tuner's in-tune values for each string by specific cent values. I think that "sweetening" attempts to precompensate for this (and the fact that instruments can never be perfectly in tune to themselves throughout their playing range) by modifying what's considered in-tune for each string. I think you'd drive yourself crazy chasing perfection. However, it's nearly impossible to get it to completely "settle down" because fretting a note or pushing down slightly on a trem bridge changes the tuning slightly and the tuner shows the dissonance. I like the strobe tuner's visual depiction of the "beats" dissonance that occurs when you tune by ear. This is my experience, my only interest is to share it, with the hope others might find some benefit Strobe Tuners can go within 1 Cent accuracy, whereas your average clip on, often offers between 20 to 30 Cents accuracy. I thought nothing could provide such a dramatic change to my guitars, I was wrong. Or seem of little interest to me, if you have an ear, and you hear dissensence where others dont, I would recommend investing in a higher end Strobe tuner, if you unsure about it, try it out, Make certain your access points are dead on, and hear it for yourself. Personally, the sweeteners I dont go for. I bought a Peterson Strobe tuner, its all that and more. Of coarse with the understanding our guitars are set up right. To say that I'm shocked at the difference a matter a cents can have, as only a good Strobe tuner can afford it user, is an understatement. I thought, sure, they've got techs, who work on the guitars after each gig, changing strings, regularly, with an eye on the saddles, truss rod, that kind of attention would suit me fine. I hear sharps and flats so vividly, I began to think I would never have the kind of tuning, that so many players seem to enjoy so effortlessly. Quite honestly, I found that hard to believe. I was told i would hear a difference in my guitars immediately. There are only a few things I know for certain in this area, one of them, is the value of a high quality Strobe tuner. Recently I've been working on learning how to work on some of my less valuable guitars, whereas should I make, a simply idiotic mistake, lesson learned. I've bought many guitars, made some monumental mistakes selling ones, buying another, I'll never get over that.
